Tara Powell

Tara Powell is the founding executive of Driven Community, Inc., a nonprofit she established in 2018. With over 12 years of experience in special education, Powell has dedicated her career to addressing the needs of vulnerable populations. Driven Community, Inc. provides supportive and inclusive living environments for high-functioning adults with Autism and other developmental disorders. Prior to founding Driven Community, Powell served as a special education teacher at Gwinnett County Public Schools and as a paraeducator at Bridgeport Public Schools. She is based in the Atlanta Metropolitan Area.
